I have worked for many years in the NHS as a Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist. I completed my BSc (Hons) degree at University College London. I’ve worked within a range of settings, with children (from 2 to 16yrs), parents and a wide variety of professionals. The skills required in speech therapy, such as a good listening ability and observation, analysis of complex assessment results and use of evidence-based practice to inform treatment plans, are all essential transferrable skills to nutritional therapy.

Following my own health difficulties, I finally discovered the importance of food and the impact it could have on recovery. I learned how different foods could make me feel and came to understand that it would be difficult for my body to heal without the right nutritional support. This then lead me to train as a Nutritionist and Nutritional Therapist.

I qualified from the renowned ‘Institute of Optimum Nutrition’ (Dip.ION) and recently from the College of Naturopathic Medicine (Dip.CNM). I am a fully insured member of the British Association of Nutritional Therapists (BANT) and a registered member of the Complimentary & Natural healthcare council (CNHC).
